Yet another great team work by SPCC continuing with the winning streak beating WIACC comprehensively by 6 wickets. Highlight of the match, WIACC were all bowled out with 8 batsman getting bowled out and 2 run outs both direct hits.

Earlier today, WIACC won the toss and elected to bat first with great opening start provided by Yasir and Awais playing some great shots all around the ground. SPCC got the first break through with a beautiful delivery from Jagi (Back in action) when he got the man in form Awais clean bowled thrashing his middle wicket which went flying couple feet away! Some splendid spell from Subashis, Deepak and Sandeep frustrated another man in form Yasir which cost him his wicket after he scored promising half century. There was no looking back from that point on by SPCC and kept taking wickets at regular intervals getting WIACC all out for 196 runs. Pavan playing the first match of the season chipped in and got two wickets.

SPCC started innings with Anish been promoted to start the innings along with Sumit. Anish and Sumit played with great temperament and kept the scoreboard moving with singles and doubles along with some well timed 4's. Sumit was the first one to fall followed by Rahul who couldn't score a run and got out of the first ball. Jagi was the next man in and scored couple of runs hitting a six and two 4's before he got out. Anish on the other hand stood like a wall and supported the man in form Baseer who scored 67 runs hitting ten 4's and three 6's. Baseer was in tremendous touch and played some exquisite shots and turned the course of the match making it one sided. Unfortunate Anish on the other hand who was playing great innings and was almost firm to hit maiden half century of the season was run out due to miscommunication between Baseer and Anish.

Wajahath, the next man in was also in great touch and played the role that Anish was playing earlier providing support to already in form Baseer. Both of them played great cricket taking few cheeky singles and doubles making sure that SPCC reaches home safe. Baseer finally got out playing loose shot on rather un harmful delivery straight to fielder at deep covers making way for Venkat N who along with Wajahath cruised SPCC safe home with 5 wickets in hand. Another great win and hopefully this will boost up the confidence levels of SPCCians for the next match in the league against CLCC.
