SPCC's high arm fast bowler Deepak Bhatt participated in Duke Aid Cricket Tournament 2007 along with Baseer Ahmed, Rahul Chaoji and Sandeep Chaturvedi. Their team Winston Warriors went all the way to the finals and lost it by just 8 runs. Deepak dazzled everyone with his amazing performance, which earned him Man of the Match in final. September 09, 2007: SPCC vs. COCC (Semifinal):
SPCC's dream run comes to an end in Columbia. Last year's novice cricketers are this year's semifinalists. SPCC gave their opponent a hard & tough fight and lost the semifinal just by two wickets. Strenuous SPCC fires and advanced to the semis. A Brutal spell by Sandeep that cost ROCC three big wickets. SPCC spin trio put Tide Water in low tides as rank #16 beat rank #1 in a nail biter. Trilok played an all round innings and scored brilliant 61 runs. South Park CC breeze away with another 300 plus innings. Swapan, Trilok and Sumit scored half centuries. SPCC 306 for 2 in 35 overs. CICC 233 for 4 in 35 overs. A very handful practice game right before the playoffs.
August 05, 2007: SPCC vs. PTCC:
Piedmont Tigers declawed by Ruthless Southerners. Baseer Ahmed played captain innings and scored massive 138 runs. In his maiden unbeaten century he smashed eight 4s and fourteen 6s. SPCC 342/7. PTCC 160 All out. SPCC won by huge 182 runs. [ Match Report | Scorecard ]

SPCC and WICC tied a stunning match as the hosts matched WICC's 283 runs off the last ball of the day. 12 runs were needed off the last over, bowled by Walton, and that became two off the last ball. Brilliant Baseer along with Jagi ripped through SCCA batting line up. Spectacular display of fielding by SPCC boys. Amit, Muzaffer & Venkat N. were lighting fast in the field and took breath taking catches. Captain Baseer led from the front again and won Man of the Match for his all round performance. Rahul's blistering 81 (45 Balls, nine 4s, five 6s) mesmerized Charlotte City. An all-round performance by Muzaffer (43 runs, 2 wkts, 1 catch) and Khurram's three quick wickets steal the show. SPCC record its first win of the season. CCCC 228/7 in 28 overs. SPCC 229/3 in 25 overs.
