Their team Winston Warriors went all the way to the finals and lost it by just 8 runs. Deepak dazzled everyone with his amazing performance, which earned him Man of the Match in final. SPCC's dream run comes to an end in Columbia. Last year's novice cricketers are this year's semifinalists. SPCC gave their opponent a hard & tough fight and lost the semifinal just by two wickets. SPCC spin trio put Tide Water in low tides as rank #16 beat rank #1 in a nail biter. Trilok played an all round innings and scored brilliant 61 runs. South Park CC breeze away with another 300 plus innings. Swapan, Trilok and Sumit scored half centuries. SPCC 306 for 2 in 35 overs. CICC 233 for 4 in 35 overs. A very handful practice game right before the playoffs.
August 05, 2007: SPCC vs. PTCC:

Brilliant Baseer along with Jagi ripped through SCCA batting line up. Spectacular display of fielding by SPCC boys. Rahul's blistering 81 (45 Balls, nine 4s, five 6s) mesmerized Charlotte City. An all-round performance by Muzaffer (43 runs, 2 wkts, 1 catch) and Khurram's three quick wickets steal the show. SPCC record its first win of the season. CCCC 228/7 in 28 overs. SPCC 229/3 in 25 overs.

SPCC AGM held at Rajesh's residence. Baseer Ahmed has been appointed the new Captain. He will lead SPCC next year. Rahul Chaoji is appointed his deputy. Many gratitude to out going captain Anish Raghavan. He managed and ran SPCC competently. [ AGM Snaps ]
