Wajahath joined SPCC at the end of 2006 season. Team quickly realized his talent as an opening batsman and within a few matches he was promoted to open the innings. It is a delight to watch his stroke play once he is set; his strength is on the off-side and plays the cover drives to perfection; excellent timer of the ball. One of the best fielders in the team; fields in the point area and has good reflexes.
